Vangaveeti Radha Krishna is an Indian politician, well-known as the son of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao, a prominent figure in Andhra Pradesh politics. He won as an MLA from Vijayawada East Constituency in 2004.
His parents named him after Ranga’s brother, Vangaveeti Radha Krishna, who was a victim of a homicide in 1974.
In 2019, Radha Krishna's decision to join the Telugu Desam Party caused protests at the Ranga statue in Raghavaiah Park, with Vangaveeti Ranga's followers and family members expressing discontent. Vangaveeti Narendra, son of Vangaveeti Narayana Rao, also voiced his opposition to Radha's switch from the YSR Congress Party to the TDP, citing historical grievances and family affiliations.
In 2021, on his father's death anniversary, Radha Krishna made controversial statements alleging threats on his life. Despite being offered security by the state government, he declined, expressing confidence in his supporters' ability to protect him.
Reports from August 16, 2023, indicate that Radha Krishna is soon to marry Jakkam Pushpavalli, daughter of Jakkam Babji, former municipal chairperson of Narsapuram, West Godavari district.
