Suryakumar Yadav is an Indian cricketer known for batting in the middle order for the Indian national cricket team.
In January 2023, Yadav ranked first in the ICC player rankings for T20 Batsmen worldwide.
Yadav is famous for his 360-degree shots, showcasing skills like uppercuts, inside-out drives, ramps, pulls, scoops, lofts, sweeps, and reverse sweeps.
One of his signature shots is the 'sweep shot' used to hit 6s against fast bowlers over deep square leg.
Yadav was raised in a middle-class family in Hathouda village of Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.
