Sindhutai Sapkal founded multiple NGOs to care for many orphaned children.
She has been honored with over 270 awards for her social work efforts.
Sindhutai Sapkal has provided care for approximately 1442 orphaned children.
She has a large family consisting of 207 sons-in-law and 36 daughters-in-law.
In 1970, Sindhutai Sapkal established her first Ashram in Chikaldara, Amravati.
She adopted nearly a dozen orphaned children and begged for their sustenance.
Despite facing challenges, Sindhutai Sapkal dedicated herself to improving the lives of abandoned children.
She entrusted her own child to Shrimant Dagdu Sheth Halwai's trust in Pune.
