Some Lesser Known Facts

Sienna Weir was a well-known Australian model who tragically passed away on May 4, 2023, following an incident during a horseback riding practice. She gained recognition in 2022 for reaching the finals of Miss Universe Australia 2022. Sienna had a deep love for horse riding from a young age, beginning her practice at the age of three. Starting out as a model during her college years, she eventually signed with the Scoop Management Agency. In 2021, Sienna also worked as an editor at organizations such as Toybox Australia and Pink Tank Events, helping underprivileged children with cancer. During a competition interview, she expressed her aspirations to explore new opportunities outside her comfort zone, including a potential move to London to be with family. Tragically, on April 2, 2023, Sienna sustained severe injuries after her horse fell at the Windsor Polo Grounds in Sydney, leading to a month-long battle for her life at Westmead Hospital, where she ultimately passed away at 23 on May 4, 2023, after being removed from life support. Sienna's social media accounts were flooded with messages of condolences from friends and fans. Sienna had a pet cat named Alfie and held a special fondness for animal companions. Her favorite travel destination was Kyoto, Japan. Edgar Allen Poe was her preferred poet, and she enjoyed Gothic literature as her favorite genre.
