He hailed from a Muslim background and married his first cousin, Sajitha, in Kerala.
Siddique kickstarted his career as a mimicry artist at Cochin Kalabhavan and later formed a renowned filmmaking duo, 'Siddique-Lal.'
Focusing on directing, Siddique collaborated with Lal on various successful projects before pursuing solo ventures.
Before delving into filmmaking, Siddique worked as a clerk at Darul Uloom VHSS Ernakulam.
Siddique contributed to numerous hit films in Malayalam, both as part of 'Siddique-Lal' and as an individual director and writer.
