Shalmalee Desai is a prominent Indian actress and TV writer, recognized for her contributions to Hindi television shows. At one point, she was married to well-known television actor Avinash Sachdev.
Her career kickstarted at Zee Networks as a Marketing Management Trainee in June 2011, where she completed a six-month training program before leaving in November 2011. She rejoined the company in September 2021 as an assistant brand manager, staying for a year.
Shalmalee Desai made her television debut on the reality show 'Lux The Chosen One' in 2012, emerging as the victorious contestant. The show aired on UTV Stars.
In 2013, she ventured into hosting on the reality show 'Just Khans' on UTV Stars.
