RecordsIn July 2023, Satwik smashed the Guinness World Record for the fastest hit by a male player in the sport during the Korea Open; he recorded a mind-boggling speed of 565 km/h with his smash. Previously, the record was held by Malaysian player Tan Boon Heong who, in May 2013, set the record with a smash speed of 493 km/h.
