Some Lesser Known Facts

Ronnie played as a middle blocker for the Grambling State Tigers during college.
After graduation, he worked at Domino's Pizza due to difficulty finding an accounting job, eating complimentary pizza daily.
Served as a police officer from 1989 to 2000, and as a reserve officer until 2003.
Encouraged by a fellow officer, he trained at Metroflex gym, leading to his first competitions.
He won the heavyweight and overall categories at the 1990 Mr. Texas bodybuilding competition.
His first professional competition was the Canada Pro Cup in 1995, which he won.
He held the Mr. Olympia title from 1998 to 2005, tying with Lee Haney for the highest victories.
His competitive journey included several placements at Mr. Olympia from 1992 to 1997 before winning.
After retiring, he faced challenges walking unaided after numerous surgeries since 2007, totaling 13 surgeries.
