Rohit Paudel is a talented Nepali cricketer with numerous records for the Nepal national team. He led the team and contributed significantly to their entry into the Asia Cup in 2023.
Starting at the age of five, Paudel nurtured a passion for cricket by playing tennis ball matches with family and friends.
Inspired by Nepal's 2014 T20 World Cup performance, he pursued a cricket career, training at the Baluwatar Cricket Academy with Coach Sunil Lama.
Under batting consultant Monty Desai, he honed his batting skills before making it to the Nepal Under-19 team after participating in local tournaments.
He made his List-A debut on February 8, 2018, and his T20 debut on July 29, 2018, showcasing his talent early in his career.
Paudel gained attention in 2016 for his performance against Indian pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti. He progressed to represent Nepal in various international tournaments.
He scored his first half-century in ODIs in 2019 and achieved his first century in 2023.
