Ritu Maheshwari is an Indian civil servant belonging to the 2003-batch IAS officers of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
She assumed the role of Divisional Commissioner of Agra in 2023, replacing Amit Gupta, also an IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, from the 2000 batch.
Her training on the junior scale took place from 2003 to 2005.
While serving as the managing director at KESCo, Ritu Maheshwari initiated a successful campaign against power theft, tampered meters, and encouraged timely payment of electricity bills by consumers, significantly reducing losses for KESCO.
