Rajeshwari Sachdev is an accomplished Indian actor and singer who won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in the Hindi film ‘Sardari Begum.’
Her father’s involvement in the Mumbai-based Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA) introduced her to acting, sparking her interest at a young age.
She initiated her training in Bharatanatyam at Sri Rajarajeswari Bharata Natya Kala Mandir in Mumbai when she was just 5 years old, dedicating 14 years to honing her skills.
During her school days, Rajeshwari excelled in athletic and dancing competitions, earning accolades such as the Best School Athlete award.
Known for her performances in Hindi theatre plays like Shabd Leela and Gauhar, she has also appeared in notable Hindi films and TV serials.
Rajeshwari Sachdev has showcased her talent in Hindi films like ‘Mammo,’ ‘Hari-Bhari,’ and ‘Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero,’ and TV serials such as ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Shaadi Mubarak.’
