He became Chief Executive in February 2017, moving from the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2013.
Gopinathan began his journey at the Tata Strategic Management Group in 1996, where he worked on various projects with Tata businesses.
In 2001, he transitioned from Tata Industries in the US to Tata Consultancy Services.
Krithi Krithivasan took over as TCS CEO on March 16, 2023, succeeding Gopinathan, whose tenure officially begins on September 15, 2023.
