Prem Chand Bairwa is a prominent Indian politician who serves as the 7th Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan since 2023.
He is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and represents the Dudu constituency as an MLA.
Hailing from a Dalit background, Prem Chand Bairwa started his political career with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
He played an active role in the Dudu Block organization from 1995 onwards.
In 2000, he tasted his first electoral success by winning in Ward 15 of Dudu and becoming a Zilla Parishad member.
By 2008, he had advanced in his political career to become the District President of SC Morcha in Jaipur Rural and held key positions within the BJP.
Prem Chand Bairwa secured victory in the 2013 Assembly elections by defeating the Congress candidate in Dudu with a significant margin of votes.
However, he faced defeat in the 2018 elections but made a successful comeback in 2023 by winning against the Congress candidate.
On 12th December 2023, he was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, emphasizing his commitment to working for the betterment of Dalits and all segments of society in his new role.
