Noor Ahmad began playing tape-ball cricket at the age of 4-5 with friends.
Despite being a school topper, his father initially discouraged a cricket career, but his brother convinced him otherwise.
He was inspired by Rashid Khan, who debuted for Afghanistan around the time Noor pursued cricket seriously.
Noor's bowling strength lies in his speed, ranging around 115-120 kph.
He debuted in the Shpageeza Cricket League in 2019.
At just 15, he participated in the Big Bash League 2020-2021.
He attempted to enter the IPL auction at the age of 14 but went unsold.
In the 2021 IPL, he served as a net bowler for CSK and was acquired by the Gujarat Titans for Rs 30 lakhs in 2022.
Notably, he claimed 2 wickets in the IPL 2023 final, contributing to GT's victory.
During the 2023 ODI World Cup, he took 5 wickets, making a significant impact with a best of 3 for 49 against Pakistan.
