Description	At the age of 25, he attempted his first robbery in the house of a rich man in Churki village of Jalaun district, but he was arrested by the police and imprisoned. After his release, he joined Lalaram's gang in Chambal and participated in numerous robberies and kidnappings. He was born in Pachdaura village of Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh.
Nirbhay Gurjar is counted among the dreaded bandits of the rugged.
Once he earned a good amount of money with robbery and kidnappings, Nirbhay started his own gang with 60 dacoits.
The local police were afraid to face Nirbhay and the Madhya Pradesh police had announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh each on his arrest.
Nirbhay Gurjar used to rape women in the village where he went to rob. He once kidnapped a 13-year-old girl named Neelam Gupta and later married her.
Nirbhay had an affair with his adopted son Shyam’s wife Sarla. Shayam rebelled against the gang. Later Shyam got in an affair with Nirbhay Gujjar’s wife Neelam Gupta.
In 2005, Shyam and Neelam surrendered before the police and informed the police about the secret hideouts of the robber Nirbhay Gurjar. Police tracked him and later killed him.
Mr. K. K. Muhammed, the Regional Director (North) of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), once shared that Nirbhay Gujjar and his gang were very cooperative and helped the Archaeological Survey of India for the restoration of Bateshwar Hindu temples, Madhya Pradesh.
In 2013, an Indian Bollywood film was made depicting the life journey of Nirbhay Gujjar named as Beehad – The Ravine, starring Vikas Shrivastav in lead role.
