Nina Singh is a 1989-batch IPS officer from the Rajasthan cadre, the first female IPS officer in the cadre.
She has served in prominent roles in various central government agencies like the CBI and CISF.
Nina was selected for police training at SVPNPA in Hyderabad, leaving her master's degree course mid-way at Delhi School of Economics.
After completing her training in Manipur in 1989, she was transferred to Rajasthan, where she served in significant positions.
In 1995, Nina became the first woman IPS officer to lead the Rajasthan police until 1999.
As the Secretary of the Rajasthan State Women’s Commission, she initiated a program to assist women facing difficult situations.
From 2013 to 2018, Nina worked on high-profile cases at the CBI, addressing various complex cases.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was transferred to Rajasthan as the Principal Secretary (Health).
