Some Lesser Known Facts

Naezy grew up in Mumbai's chawls in a lower-middle-class, orthodox Muslim family.
He wasn't academically inclined and gravitated towards hanging out with friends, leading him into troublesome situations.
At the age of 13, Naezy kicked a policeman to avoid being taken to the police station.
His life took a turn when he was arrested for harassing a girl.
Initially inspired by rappers like Lil Wayne and Sean Paul, Naezy started his musical journey by imitating them.
His introduction to rap came from listening to Sean Paul's music.
During college, he co-founded the hip-hop group 'The Schizophrenics'.
Naezy recorded his first single 'Aafat' with an iPad sent by his father from Dubai.
Collaborating with rapper Divine on 'Mere Gully Mein' brought him recognition.
'Gully Boy,' a film, drew inspiration from the lives of rappers like Naezy and Divine.
Though he took a hiatus from rapping, Naezy returned to follow his musical passion.
In June 2024, he appeared as a contestant on 'Bigg Boss OTT Season 3'.
Naezy focuses on rapping about social issues rather than materialistic themes.
