Manoj Muntashir is an accomplished Indian lyricist, poet, and screenwriter.
He discovered his passion for poetry in his hometown and began reciting it after attending a 'Mushaira'.
His mother always saw him as someone special and showered him with love.
He gained interest in writing by reading works of Sahir Ludhianvi and Shailendra.
With only Rs. 700, he moved to Mumbai and landed his first job writing a Bhajan for Anup Jalota.
To stand out, he adopted the unique last name 'Muntashir'.
Prior to Mumbai, he worked at All India Radio Allahabad.
He is known for writing lyrics for hit songs like 'Galliyan', 'Tere Sang Yaara', 'Kaun Tujhe', and 'Teri Mitti'.
