Manav began playing cricket at the young age of 12, starting at the SK Bihani Cricket Academy.
Initially encouraged to pursue batting by his father, he shifted to spin bowling after his coach recognized his talent.
At just 17 years old, he became the leading wicket-taker for India U19 during the series against Afghanistan, with 10 wickets in 3 matches.
He made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2022 for Rajasthan, quickly establishing himself as a key player.
In 2022, he served as a net bowler for the Gujarat Titans, gaining valuable experience.
He achieved the highest wicket-taker status for Rajasthan in the 2022/23 Ranji season, taking 39 wickets in six matches.
During the Emerging Asia Cup 2023, he took 10 wickets across five matches, sharing the title of second-highest wicket-taker, with a standout performance against Pakistan.
In 2024, he showcased his skill with five wickets for India A against the England Lions in a non-official Test series.
Signed by Gujarat Titans at the 2024 IPL auction for his base price of Rs. 20 lakh, he made his IPL debut on 4 May 2024.
