Logan Verjus van Beek is a cricket player from New Zealand and the Netherlands. He plays for Wellington Firebirds in New Zealand and the Netherlands national cricket team. Van Beek is a right-handed right-arm fast-medium bowler and all-rounder. His outstanding super over performance at the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier against the West Indies brought him international fame. This was when he scored 30 runs and took two wickets in the same match.
Logan van Beek holds the Dutch passport due to his paternal grandparents moving to New Zealand in the 1950s. In 2009, he represented New Zealand in the FIBA Under-19 World Championship as a point guard in basketball. He previously worked at Window Wizards as a manager and cleaner from 2010 to 2011.
In 2010, he played for the New Zealand team in the Under-19 World Cup and later coached at Canterbury Cricket from 2011 to 2016. Van Beek joined the Netherlands cricket team in 2012. He earned Level 1 Coaching certification from the New Zealand Cricket Association in January 2013.
