Harinder Pal Sandhu began playing squash at age 10 at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali.
At thirteen, he and his coach moved to Chennai for training.
Challenges included adjusting to new culture, language, and food.
He aimed to excel in squash and bring pride to his modest family background.
Harinder Pal Sandhu turned professional and joined the Professional Squash Association (PSA) in 2005.
He won his first two PSA titles at the Indian Challenger Series in 2009.
In 2014, Harinder Pal Sandhu clinched his first national championship title at the Indian Nationals of Squash by defeating Saurav Ghosal.
