Hamza Saleem Dar is a Pakistani-Spanish cricketer who has represented Spain in various international tournaments. He gained fame for scoring an unbeaten 193 runs in a T10 match in 2023.
He completed his schooling in Pakistan before moving to Spain for higher education, where he pursued his interest in cricket by playing professionally.
Residing in Badalona, Barcelona, he participated in several Spanish cricket leagues including the T10 Catalunya Cup, Liga Catalana De Cricket, and Glasgow Cup.
In his T20I debut against Finland, he scored 8 runs and achieved his first T20I half-century with an unbeaten 59 runs against Germany on 11 September 2021.
During the European Championship in Cártama (Málaga) in 2023, Hamza excelled, earning the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) for scoring 354 runs and taking 14 wickets, helping Spain secure the bronze medal.
In a T10 European Cricket Series match on 5 December 2023, playing for Catalunya Jaguar (CJ) against Sohal Hospitalet (SOH), he smashed 22 sixes and 14 fours, scoring an unbeaten 193 runs in 43 balls with a strike rate of 449, setting a T10 record.
