Geetika Srivastava is an Indian Foreign Service officer from the 2005 batch.
In August 2023, she made history by becoming the first woman officer to lead the Indian mission in Pakistan as the Chargé d’affaires of the Indian High Commission.
After passing the UPSC civil services exam, Geetika joined the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
She gave a speech on “Confronting Khalistanis In Ontario” at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service in 2016.
In August 2023, she was appointed as the Chargé d’affaires at the Indian High Commission in Pakistan, succeeding M. Suresh Kumar during heightened India-Pakistan tensions post the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir.
