Some Lesser Known Facts

Divyakriti Singh Rathore was part of the Indian equestrian team that won gold at the Asian Games in 2023, after 41 years since 1982.
She grew up at Mundota Palace in Rajasthan, where her love for horses began.
Starting horseriding in the 7th grade at Mayo College Girls School in Ajmer, she developed a passion for it.
During her school years, she also started playing Polo.
Taking up horse riding at school made it Divyakriti's dream to represent India at the Asian Games.
She became the equestrian captain and represented her school in Polo competitions.
In 2018, she participated in the Junior National Equestrian Championship in New Delhi.
After finishing her studies in 2020, she decided to pursue Equestrian professionally.
In April 2020, she moved to Denmark, bought her first horse, and trained there for a year.
Due to the pandemic, she spent six months in Germany training at the Hof Kasselmann.
In February 2022, Divyakriti participated in the Asian Games trials but was not initially chosen.
Selected in the later trials between August 2022 and February 2023, she entered with two horses.
Competing on Adrenaline Firfod, she achieved an individual score of 68.176.
In December 2023, she was awarded the Arjuna Award, being the first woman in equestrian to receive it.
Apart from equestrian sports, Divyakriti Singh is known for her love for dogs, often sharing them on her social media.
In 2018, she did a photoshoot for La Polo, an international Polo magazine.
