Deepak Antani is a versatile Indian actor and director.
He is a lookalike of Mahatma Gandhi and has portrayed his character in over 20 short films, TV serials, 190 stage plays, and documentaries.
His resemblance to Gandhi earned him a spot in the Limca Book of Records 2020.
After completing his B.Tech, he worked as an electrical technician at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd in Vadodara.
Later, the company merged with Reliance Industries in 2002.
Looking for a change, he enrolled at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and worked part-time.
During college, he attended mime workshops and got into theatre.
In his younger days, he served as an NCC Cadet.
After graduating, he worked as a production assistant at Doordarshan for thirteen years.
