He was appointed as the Director General (DG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in November 2023.

  • After completing his formal education, Singh took the UPSC civil services exam and passed it. Thereafter, he joined the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVNPA) in Hyderabad, Telangana. There, he trained to become a police officer.
