After working at NSD as the institute’s professional repertory for over five years, he ventured into acting in Hindi and Gujarati theatre plays, including popular ones like Mukhya Mantri and Begum ka Takiya. |
Despite Gujarati as his mother tongue, Anang struggled with Hindi initially but improved his language skills by reading books, magazines, and newspapers in Hindi. |
Apart from acting, Anang Desai is also a trained singer in Hindustani classical music and has performed as a singer on All India Radio, Ahmedabad. |
His acting career includes roles in notable Hindi films such as 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Ishq Vishk', and 'Rustom', as well as Gujarati films like 'Jaysuk Zdpayo' and 'Tu Rajee Re'. |
