Alvaro Morata developed a love for football in his childhood.
At the age of 3, his grandparents gifted him his first football.
At 5, he tried out for Atletico Madrid Academy and got in but was asked to wait another year by his mom.
He began training at Atlético Madrid at 6 years old and played in age-group teams till he turned ten.
Morata transitioned to Getafe at age 10 and then joined Real Madrid Youth Academy at 14 in 2008.
In 2009, he started playing for Real Madrid C in the Spanish league's third division and later for Real Madrid Juvenil.
He represented Spain in the 2009 Under-17 World Cup and helped win the 2011 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Morata played for Real Madrid Castilla in the 2009-2010 season.
Known for his generosity, he shaved his hair in 2014 to support children with cancer.
In July 2014, he signed with Juventus for €20 million on a 5-year deal.
