Captain Abhilasha Barak made history as the first combat helicopter pilot in the Indian Army.
In 2014, she undertook training as a trainee at DRDO.
During 2015, she gained experience as an intern at The Smart Cube.
After completing her B Tech in 2016, she worked as a Business Tech Analyst at Deloitte US.
In 2017, she joined the Officers’ Training Academy to pursue her passion for serving in the military.
Abhilasha Barak successfully passed the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) and Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) to qualify for Army Aviation Corps training.
Her journey to becoming a pilot involved six months of intense training.
She was honored to be selected as the Commander of the Corps of Army Air Defence’s Contingent for the Presentation of Regimental Colours.
