Career

Political Journey• In 2012, he became the founding member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). • In 2015, he became the cabinet minister in Kejriwal's Delhi government and handled various portfolios including Water; Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs; Tourism; Art, Culture and Languages; Gurudwara Election. • In 2017, he was sacked as a minister of Delhi Government. • On 2 August 2019, he was disqualified from the Delhi Legislative Assembly under the anti-defection law. • On 17 August 2019, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. • On 5 August 2023, the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party appointed him its vice-president.
