Kamal Sadanah is an Indian actor, producer, and director.
He comes from a family of filmmakers, including his late father, popular filmmaker Brij Sadanah.
His uncle is renowned film producer Chander Sadanah, and his cousins are actresses Jyothika and Nagma.
Sadanah initially wanted to be an actor but found a passion for production early in his career.
He began managing his father's production house at the age of 20.
His acting career started with the film "Bekhudi" in 1992, followed by other Bollywood movies like "Fauj," "Jai Maa Vaishnav Devi," "Angaara," and "Mohabbat Aur Jung."
He gained recognition for his role as Yogi Joshi in the film "Rang" (1993) alongside Divya Bharti.
Sadanah acted in and directed the film "Karkash" in 2005.
In 2007, he produced the film "Victoria No. 203: Diamonds Are Forever," a remake of a movie originally directed and produced by his father.
Sadanah wrote and directed "Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans" in 2014.
After a long hiatus, he reunited with co-star Kajol in the movie "Salaam Venky" in 2022.
On his 20th birthday, Sadanah tragically lost his entire family due to a devastating incident involving his father.
The incident took place in their Mumbai apartment, where his father's actions led to the loss of his mother, sister, and his own near-fatal injury.
Despite the tragedy, Sadanah continued to live in his bungalow with a staff of fifteen members.
