Some Lesser Known Facts

K. P. Singh is an Indian businessman and real estate tycoon famous as the chairman emeritus of DLF.
He is a former Indian Army officer.
During his youth, Singh developed an interest in horseriding while spending time at the Viceregal Lodge in the company of his uncle and the viceroy Lord Wavell.
After obtaining his degree from Meerut College, Singh went to England to study aeronautical engineering.
In England, Singh met and fell in love with Julie, a girl from an aristocratic family.
He later served as Captain in The Deccan Horse regiment of the Indian Army.
Singh then became the Managing Director and eventually the Chairman of DLF after joining the American Universal Electrical Company.
His hobbies include playing golf, tennis, and collecting art.
In 2018, Singh's wife, Indira, passed away from cancer.
In 2023, Singh introduced his new partner, a friend named Sheena.
In 2011, Singh published his autobiography titled 'Whatever the Odds: The Incredible Story Behind DLF'.
