  • His father wanted Hemwant to join the Indian army. But he had always dreamt of becoming an actor. However, he also appeared in the National Defence Academy’s entrance exam.
  • Hemwant Tiwari worked in call centers to earn money for his acting courses.
  • In his struggling days, he only managed to get work in ad films and short films. For earning extra income he also taught yoga for some time.
  • He had done an acting course from ‘Barry John’ acting school in 2007. After the course, he joined theater to improve his acting skills.
  • He acted in a short film named ‘Zindagi Bahut Khoobsurat’, which was screened at the Court Metrage, in the Cannes Film Festival, in 2013.
