Fayyaz Hussain Shah is a lieutenant general in the Pakistan Army.
He was the 27th Corps Commander of the Lahore Corps (IV Corps).
In May 2023, Shah replaced Lt. Gen. Salman Fayyaz Ghani as the GOC of the Lahore Corps.
Shah applied for officer entry into the Pakistan Army after completing his graduation.
He joined the Pakistan Military Academy's 80th Long Course.
After training, Shah became a second lieutenant in the Pakistan Army's 4th Battalion of the Sindh Regiment.
Ghani progressed to roles of Company Commander, Battalion Commander, and Brigade Commander in the army.
In February 2018, Shah was promoted to major general.
