  • In 2016, Deepti took 6 wickets in an innings by giving just 20 runs in a match against Sri Lanka, becoming the youngest Indian Cricketer (male or female) to take a 6-wicket haul.
  • In May 2017, while playing a One Day International match against Ireland during the quadrangular series in South Africa, Deepti formed an opening partnership of 320 runs with Punam Raut, breaking the standing women’s record of 229 runs (made by Sarah Taylor and Caroline Atkins of England) and the standing men’s record of 286 runs (made by Upul Tharanga and Sanath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka) in One Day International. Deepti's individual score in the match was 188 runs (consisting off 27 fours) off 160 balls, becoming the third women cricketer to score the maximum in an inning (by batting position) in Women’s One Day Internationals. She created another record in the match by hitting maximum number of fours in an innings in women's cricket.
