Chiranjeevi does not consume alcohol.
He is a devout follower of Lord Hanuman.
Chiranjeevi underwent acting training at M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute in Chennai, India.
His acting career began in 1978 with the Telugu film "Pranam Khareedu," where he played the role of 'Narasimha.'
In 2006, Chiranjeevi was bestowed with the Padma Bhushan for his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema.
He received an honorary doctorate from Andhra University.
