Aaliyah has Mexican American heritage.
She started her basketball journey at the age of 8, encouraged by her father, who trained her.
In 2021, she was voted the ‘Most Athletic’ by her 8th grade class at Evans Middle School.
She scored 26 points in her first game of the Frenship Youth Basketball League after just one month of training.
ESPN HoopGurlz ranked her as the number one recruit in America for the Class of 2025.
During her senior year, she averaged 34.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.7 steals.
By the end of high school in 2025, she achieved totals of 4,796 points, 1,279 rebounds, and 771 assists.
