Mark has a mixed heritage with his mother from Hong Kong and father from New Zealand.
He began his cricketing journey at the Hong Kong Cricket Club.
His first appearance for the Hong Kong Under-15 side was at the young age of 11.
In addition to cricket, Mark enjoys playing golf.
At 15, he represented Hong Kong in the under-19 team during the 2010 Under-19 World Cup.
Mark debuted in the World Cricket League for Hong Kong in 2011, where he emerged as the team's highest run scorer.
He made his List A debut for Hong Kong against Uganda on 8 April 2011.
Mark's T20 debut for Hong Kong was against Italy on 15 November 2013.
