Pratham made his List A debut in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy for Railways on 26 February 2017.
He scored 73 runs off 154 balls in his first-class debut for Railways in the Ranji Trophy against Maharashtra.
Aside from cricket, Pratham enjoys tennis, football, and volleyball.
He was signed by the Gujarat Lions in 2017 but did not play any matches.
In the 2018-19 Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament, he had an impressive performance, scoring 438 runs in 10 innings.
Pratham operates three cricket academies and opened his first one in a nearby school for personal practice.
Despite hitting nine sixes in IPL trials, he went unsold in the auctions.
He made his T20 debut for Railways in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 21 February 2019.
