He started playing golf at 6 years old when his father introduced him to the game at the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala.
His father has represented India at the Asian Games in the 400m race and was on the probable list of Olympic athletes but couldn’t qualify.
His mother is a national-level high jumper.
