Zehra Gunes, a talented volleyball player from Turkey, plays as a middle blocker for the women's national team and Vakifbank Istanbul.
In May 2022, Zehra Gunes was reportedly dating Eren Ali Disli, but by December 2022, they had broken up and deleted photos of each other from their social media accounts.
In 2015, Zehra started her professional career with the Turkey Girls’ U18 National team and won the Best Middle Blocker award at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship.
She also competed in the 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival and played in the Turkey women’s U20 team for the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix.
Zehra excelled at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship and later played for the Turkey women’s U23 team, winning the World Championship and earning recognition in the 2017-18 Vestel Venus Sultans League.
In 2017-18, she was victorious in the CEV Women’s Champions League and received "The Vestel Special Prize."
Zehra made her debut with Turkey’s women’s team in March 2018, earning a silver medal at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League and finishing fifth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
She briefly played for Besiktas J.K. in the 2016-17 Turkish Women’s Volleyball League season before returning to Vakifbank.
Zehra is widely considered one of the most attractive female volleyball players internationally.
At the age of 12, Zehra began her volleyball journey at Vakifbank.
