Annabel Sutherland is an Australian cricketer who plays for Victoria Women's cricket team in the Women's National Cricket League and the Melbourne Stars in the Women's Big Bash League.
She spent her childhood bowling for long hours against her brother and was the only girl on the cricket teams at Malvern Cricket Club.
In addition to cricket, she used to play Australian Rules football with boys until her mother established the club's first girls' team.
At the age of 15, she became the youngest player to feature in the Big Bash after making her debut for the Melbourne Renegades.
She represented the Australian under-15 and under-19 cricket teams.
In 2015, she was awarded the Player of the Championship at the Under 15 National Champs and achieved the same accolade at the Under-18 National Championship in 2016.
She was named in Australia's squads for the 2020 Australia Women's Tri-Nation Series and the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
She received a central contract from Cricket Australia in April 2020 before the 2020-21 season.
