Vishwas Savarkar was born in India and was the son of revolutionary Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
His father, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, coined the political concept 'Hindutva' while imprisoned in Ratnagiri Jail, Maharashtra in 1922 and was a prominent figure in the Hindu Mahasabha.
Vishwas Savarkar was associated with the Walchand Group and authored four books, including Athavani Angarachya and Paris Sparsh Swatantra Veerancha.
He also wrote numerous articles about his father, which were published in newspapers and magazines across the nation.
In 2010, the Indian Government declared Savarkar Sadan, the ancestral home of Veer Savarkar, a heritage site shortly before Vishwas Savarkar's passing.
