In 2003, he made headlines for his arrest in Abdul Karim Telgi’s Stamp Paper Scam.
Starting as a journalist, Anil worked for prominent media organizations and built relationships with politicians like George Fernandes and Gopinath Munde.
He later joined the Shetkari Sanghatana Movement, a farmer’s union in Kolhapur, before transitioning into politics as an MLA.
