Shivani Pruthvi is an accomplished Indian racer, rally driver, and doctor known for winning national Grand Prix races and rallies.
At the young age of 5, she began roller skating and competed in numerous state-level tournaments.
During her school and college days, she actively played basketball, tennis, and table tennis, fueled by her lifelong passion for bikes and cars.
In 2018, during her second year of studying MBBS, she started racing under her father's guidance, utilizing the factory compound for training amidst cement water pipes.
She participated in her first race, Autocross in Kochi, in 2018, and later joined Ahura Racing, India’s pioneering all-women racing team, competing in events like Volkswagen Motorsport India’s Ameo Cup.
Her rally debut took place at the South India Rally of 2019 INRC in Chennai, followed by races in the 2019 Indian National Autocross Championship, Mysuru Dasara Gravel Fest, and Asia Auto Gymkhana Championship.
In collaboration with her mother, Deepti Pruthvi, she ventured into racing in 2019, clinched victory in Times Women’s Drive for two consecutive years, and also joined her as a navigator during rallies.
She officially became a registered doctor with the Karnataka Medical Council in October 2021.
A former NCC cadet, she showcased her leadership skills at prestigious events like the Republic Day Camp and the International Cadet Exchange Program in Singapore in 2014.
Fond of animals, she lovingly cares for her many dogs, and her inspiring journey has been featured in advertisements for renowned automobile companies like JK Tyres and Volkswagen.
Learning from accomplished racers including Arjuna Awardee Gaurav Gill, Shivani Pruthvi hones her skills diligently and incorporates weight training into her exercise routines.
