Anand Mohan Singh is an Indian politician convicted of murdering G. Krishnaiah in 2007.
He was born into a Bihar farmer family.
Anand worked as an editor for the magazine Kranti Doot in 1972.
In 1974, he left his studies to join the Sampoorna Kranti movement led by Jayaprakash Narayan against the emergency declared by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975.
During the emergency, Anand was imprisoned under the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA) until it ended in 1977.
Known for his strength, he led a black flag march against Prime Minister Morarji Desai in Bihar in the late 1970s.
