Ripal Patel is an Indian cricketer, playing as an all-rounder for Gujarat in domestic cricket and for Delhi Capitals in the 2021 IPL season.
He began his cricket journey by playing tennis ball cricket and later joined a cricket academy in Kheda district, Gujarat.
Ripal Patel had a clear ambition to become a cricketer from a young age, with strong support from his family.
He faced challenges in developing his skills due to the limited sports infrastructure in his hometown of Nadiad, Gujarat.
In 2019, he made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Bengal, scoring nine runs.
Having played 11 T20 matches, Ripal Patel has scored 191 runs with an average of 31.83, his highest being 41 runs in a domestic level T20 innings.
He is yet to score a half-century at the domestic level.
His teammate Axar Patel, who also trained with the same coach Vishwajeet Solanki, played a significant role in improving his game.
