Ramita Jindal is an Indian Air Rifle sports shooter who gained recognition in 2022 for winning a silver and a bronze medal in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
She started her sports shooting journey at age 13 while in 8th grade and trained at the Karan Shooting Academy under coach Jagbir Singh before moving to the GFG academy in Chennai.
During her school days, she secured 2nd and 3rd place in district and state-level matches, leading to national competitions.
In 2019, she won a bronze medal in the CBSE National Championship held in Karnal.
Ramita also won a bronze medal at the 2021-22 Junior World Championship in Lima and achieved gold and silver medals at the 2022 International Junior World Cup.
