Many Indian groups were angered by the news of her visit and wanted her to apologize. People protested against her and shouted “Killer Queen, go back.” The Queen and Prince Philip paid their respects by laying a wreath and stood in a moment of silence for 30 seconds; after this, people halted their protests.
