She hails from a Kashmiri Pandit Community with a family background in the film industry.
Dhanalakshmi Sapru, married to Tej Sapru, is her sister-in-law and the younger sibling of renowned Bollywood actress Rekha.
Her acting journey commenced at the age of 13.
Priti has appeared in a few Bollywood films, mostly in brief roles.
